The Falcon City of Wonders is a project to build a city in Dubai with replicas of the seven wonders of the world plus modern wonders such as the Eiffel tower and Taj Mahal. The project is led by Falcon City of Wonders Company, owned by local businessman Salem al Moosa. The estimated cost of the project is $1.5-billion.
When viewed from space, the city will form the shape of a falcon. The Eiffel Tower will be recreated into a hotel with glass in the space between the metal structure. It will also be taller than the original Eiffel Tower and be named "Dubai Eiffel Tower".
The project ran into trouble during 2005 when a leading financier of the project was convicted of fraud from a previous project. The project status is now unknown.
